Abstract:
The dispersion law of elementary charges (electrons or holes, hereinafter: electrons) in perturbed nanodimensional crystal film-structures (with variable boundary parameters) was analyzed by the method of two-time and temperature-dependent Green's functions. In contrast to unbounded structures, the energy spectrum of charges in the film has two gaps, and the range of charge energies is strictly discrete and narrower, and highly dependent on the boundary conditions of the film. The paper found and discussed the conditions for the appearance and existence of localized electron states as a function of the size of the boundary parameters.
