Abstract:
AIM: The aim of this study was to determine and show way of orthodontic treatment of crowding in permanent dentition. MATHERIAL AND METOD: In this case was treated girl in the 14 years of age. Missing space in the lower jaw was 11.5mm (severe crowding) and 4.5mm in the upper jaw. Patient had dental Class I and skeletal Class II. Plan of treatment was extraction of all first premolars and using of upper and lower fixed appliances. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Patient wore fixed appliances for 24 months. After treatment patient had stabile occlusion in Class I, with overbite 2mm and overjet 2mm. Now patient is in period of retention, without sings of relapse and wear splints in both jaws every night.
