Abstract:
At pneumatic solid particles transport it is necessary to determine the velocity of transported particles in order to realize the assigned material transport. In this paper we consider turbulent two-phase flow air-solid particles in channel with quadratic cross-section. At turbulent flow in the flow cross-section appears the flow phenomena, known as secondary flow. At the flow modeling the transported solid particles are reduced to spherical shape. It has been used Reynold stress model for turbulent stresses and turbulent temperature fluxes. The numerical results presented in this paper are grid independent. The diagrams of velocity and position of transported solid particles of quartz, ash and flavour, transported by air in channel, have been shown in this paper.
