Abstract:
The paper will provide basic information on the development, current state and the perspectives of the electric power industry of Serbia. In this regard, attention will be paid to energy resources of interest for Serbia's electric power (coal, oil, natural gas, water, sun, wind, biogas). Further on, information on thermal power plants, hydroelectric power plants, solar power plants, wind farms and power plants on biogas in Serbia will be provided. Finally, conclusions will be drawn about the current state and perspectives of the electric power industry of Serbia.
