Abstract:
The paper reviews the current state of use of the renewable energy in Serbia. In this connection, the paper describes energy potential and gives examples of the use of solar energy, wind energy, hydropower, geothermal energy, biomass and biogas in Serbia. In conclusion, up to now achieved results of the use of renewable energy sources in Serbia and prospects for their further use are presented.
